Anne Hasting is a speech-language pathologist who holds national ASHA certification and Maryland licensure. After growing up in southern Virginia, she received her BS and MS from Brigham Young University. Annie enjoys helping children and families communicate better, and she had experience working with children who have a variety of speech and language disorders, including autism, apraxia, dysarthria, learning disabilities, language delay/impairment, phonological disorders, articulation delay/disorder, and chromosomal differences. Fluent in American Sign Language and well-versed in auditory-verbal therapeutic techniques, she enjoys working with deaf and hard of hearing children who use cochlear implants, hearing aids, or no hearing assistance. Annie's particular interest is helping children with severe speech difficulty become intelligible. She teaches workshops around the state of Maryland to assist speech pathologists in working with unintelligible children.
In her free time, Annie enjoys skiing, swimming, photography, and spending time with family and friends.
